Overview
Important: Teaching faculty and instructors will be impacted by the Workday Student Launch 2 on February 26, 2024
Teaching faculty and instructors are a key impacted stakeholder group and the tasks performed in Workday Student by this group are critical to the student academic journey at UBC. Teaching faculty and instructors will have access to Workday Student after Launch 2 based on instructor names being assigned to course sections.
In support of this change, the IRP Student team has prepared a training resource list for teaching faculty and instructors - please visit https://irp.ubc.ca/faculty-training to review the resources.
Canvas is UBC's primary learning platform for delivering online course content. It includes features such as quizzes, assignments, discussions, and mobile apps. Several other learning tools including iClicker, WeBWorK, peerScholar, and ComPAIR are integrated with Canvas.
